Adam is a British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) registered Counsellor, and trained with CICS to specialise as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist registered with the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). Adam runs an online private practice, reaching clients all over the UK, and previously worked with the Sussex Cancer Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital as an Honorary Counsellor. He is a Psychology Graduate with a double Masters and holds a PG Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling.

Adam is of Sri Lankan origin and can relate to people minoritised on different aspects, including ethnicity, sexuality, immigration, spiritual beliefs and privilege. His experience ranges from supporting people across cultures living in the UK, including clients of South Asian heritage on areas such as adverse impacts of cultural expectations, suppressed sexual expression and identity, kink, non-monogamy, spiritual bypassing of sexuality, and psychosomatic issues.

As an integrative therapist, Adam works pluralistically, which means that he will integrate models and tools from a range of approaches informed by person-centred needs. He integrates sex therapy within a wider psychotherapeutic approach, so clients are better equipped to navigate their varying worries effectively to live a fulfilling, spirited life. He works collaboratively with clients, tailoring therapy according to what works best for you.
