The Contemporary Therapy Network provides a trusted, digital-first space, with in-person options, for individuals across the UK seeking professional support for their general mental health and wellbeing. Our network bridges the gap between clinical excellence and financial accessibility by offering a tiered service that includes both senior, fully qualified psychotherapists and specialist therapists-in-training.
No matter what daily challenges you are currently navigating, whether you are dealing with everyday stress, feeling low or experiencing a major life transition, our remote or in-person services connect you directly with a dedicated general counsellor from the comfort of your own home.
Get In TouchOur approach to counselling is rooted in Pluralism, a collaborative and modern framework that recognises there is no single 'cookie-cutter' solution to mental wellbeing.
Our approach to counselling is called ‘Pluralism’. What this means is that we recognise that one way does not work for everyone. Pluralism embraces a range of psychological theories, adapting and offering perspectives and interventions in attunement with each specific client’s needs.
Our Network therapists are trained to adapt their responses and interventions to suit the person in front of them.
We don’t do ‘cookie cutter’ therapy that applies the same, standardised treatment plan to everyone, regardless of individual personality, needs, goals, or circumstances. Our approach is personal, co-created, non-hierarchical – it’s developed with and for you.
We love our work here at Contemporary Therapy Network. It’s our privilege every day to help our Network clients to improve their lives.
From only £25 per session, following assessment, our low cost Network therapy team can offer you support with the following concerns:
The words ‘therapy’, ‘counselling’ and ‘psychotherapy’ are all used to mean the same thing; sitting with a professional listener who can help you to unravel your thoughts and feelings to improve your mental wellbeing. This is your private, confidential space where you can speak your mind unfiltered and share your worries in safety. Your Network therapist has been trained to listen deeply and closely, reflect your thoughts back to you, help you to reframe your experiences and support you to change your behaviours.
Counselling is a talking therapy. In our service we offer a private, non-judgemental space to talk through your concerns with one of our Network therapists. These conversations will help you to gain insight into your emotions, thoughts, and actions. Counselling can make a meaningful difference to life, by providing emotional support, enhancing coping skills, increasing self-understanding, and helping you find practical ways to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief or relationship struggles. Talking through your thoughts and feelings expands our awareness and expanded awareness leads to more agency to make choices that support the life we want to live. We believe that therapy is purposeful. We will collaborate with you to identify your goals, helping you to reduce distress and find your way to a more balanced life and peaceful mind.
