Charlotte Burgess

Charlotte is a COSRT Accredited Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist also holding registration with the BACP. Alongside running her successful private practice, Charlotte works as a Psychosexual Therapist at Leicester Sexual Health Services within Midlands Partnership NHS Trust.

Charlotte works pluralistically from a contemporary biopsychosocial framework which incorporates all aspects of self. Charlotte embodies all things GSRD (Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity), is trauma informed and neurodivergent friendly.

Charlotte's goal is to look at a person holistically while tailoring therapy, rejecting the idea of “box fitting” and working collaboratively with clients to generate confidence and empowerment in their own autonomy. She is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and prides herself on being all inclusive while creating a safe, non-judgmental space.

Charlotte's specialisms include being kink knowledgeable coming from a background in the kink/fetish community and being an ex-sex worker.  She works closely with alternative relationship dynamics- Polyamory, EMN, Master/slave dynamics, swinging community etc. Charlotte works with all sexual function issues, compulsive sexual behaviours, sexuality/sexual orientation, diversity and intersectionality’s, sexual violence/trauma, shame, couples and multiple partner relationships on issues such as conflict management, communication difficulties, separation, infidelity, jealousy/compersion, mismatched desire and more!

Charlotte is a narcissism aware therapist who works with individuals that have experienced relationships with narcissistic partners and are dealing with the aftermath of this. Finally, Charlotte is currently undertaking training as a clinical supervisor - soon to offer spaces to supervisees.
