Claud (they/she), is a Trainee Anti-Oppressive Psychotherapist with CICS. Prior to their Level 5 Psychotherapist training, they trained in both somatic therapy and coaching and spent 10 years working in the area of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Social Justice. Across this time, they supported, advocated for and organised with people and communities experiencing discrimination and marginalisation, significant systemic trauma and mental health barriers.
Alongside this, Claud has spent the past few years developing a queer women-run service that supports people who are living in unsafe or unmanageable conditions, within their homes. This is typically due to hoarding and/or neglect of themselves and their space, often triggered by traumatic incidents, physical and mental health struggles, depression, neurodivergence and/or grief. This highly sensitive work has inspired Claud to want to provide a deeper ongoing level of support for people who need it.
