Raymond Blaney

I am a Professional Registrant of NCS and a member of COSRT and a qualified supervisor, COSRT and NCPS. I became a counsellor after receiving counselling for myself and became curious about how it all worked. I then made a decision that I wanted to retrain in order to be able to offer the same experience to others.

I work in an integrative, pluralistic manner incorporating techniques and tools from multiple theorists and practises, including person centred, CBT, psychodynamic, EFT, EMDR but ultimately, I believe that the counselling relationship is rooted within a mind to mind and heart to heart connection.

I focus on offering relationships and psychosexual therapy after graduating from CICS in 2024 and am based in Belfast.

Working with clients through numerous agencies including Epilepsy Action, Headway, FND Matters NI, CRUSE, PIPS, Nexus and Rainbow Project and more, I have been fortunate to gain experience in  areas such as sexuality, gender, sexual trauma, trauma, chronic illness, bereavement, suicidal ideation, life scripts but no two clients are ever the same and it is important to me that each client feels that they have had space created for them where they can been held, heard and seen.

Charlotte is a narcissism aware therapist who works with individuals that have experienced relationships with narcissistic partners and are dealing with the aftermath of this. Finally, Charlotte is currently undertaking training as a clinical supervisor - soon to offer spaces to supervisees.
