Stephanie is a highly qualified, experienced and compassionate psychotherapist who has worked for over 18 years therapeutically with clients of all genders and sexualities, from all around the world. She combines a robust theoretical training with warmth, kindness and insight. She specialises in working with couples and multi-partnered people and no longer works with individuals.

Stephanie sees the whole relationship as the ‘patient’ rather than trying to work out who is right and who is wrong. Each party will influence the other party(s): what one partner does shapes what another does, which shapes what the first partner does, and so on. She sees her job as being to work out how each person contributes to the presenting problem as a whole. She loves helping people in relationships to see themselves and their patterns better, helping to get them to a place where positive, lasting change is possible.

Stephanie is committed to anti-oppressive practice in her therapy work. This means that she actively considers how race, culture, class, gender, sexuality, disability and other aspects of identity shape the experience of each person in the therapy room. She recognises that different experiences of power and privilege affect how we relate, including the relationship between therapist and clients.
